Astek Wallcovering has a new line called From Above. Inspired by aerial views of Earth, From Above displays the vast and infinite variety of terrain and topography present on our planet. Through altered perspective the landscape as seen from above becomes unknown and foreign; an abstract reality. The views become reminiscent of abstract and expressionistic art. From Above showcases these new realities through a variety of artistic techniques and material explorations creating a grand impact. And finally, as Summer is in full swing, so are vine-ripe tomatoes. I found this easy and delicious recipe for Heirloom Tomato Salad on Family Circle's website.
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 teaspoons snipped chives
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon honey
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
1/4 cup olive oil
5 -6 heirloom tomatoes
1. Whisk fresh lemon juice, snipped chives, grated lemon zest, Dijon mustard, honey, sea salt and cracked black pepper. While whisking, add olive oil in a thin stream until blended.
2. Slice heirloom tomatoes and fan slices onto a board or large platter. Season with additional chives, sea salt and cracked pepper. Serve with dressing.
We'd like to give a big thanks and full credit to Family Circle for this recipe.
