For those of you that are not familiar with Furniture Market, it’s basically fifteen city blocks packed with buildings full of furniture. And rugs. And lamps. And lighting. Have you heard of Linnaea Tillett? Neither had I until read about her in the June issue of Metropolis. Linnaea Tillett is a lighting designer who runs a firm out of Brooklyn, NY. I accidentally ran across RNDRD. I think one of the images from their website showed up in an image search. I’ve always been drawn to plans and sketches from previous decades. I realize the images in old books and publications was the best of the best, the final version, but I’m always amazed. All the lines are hand drawn. Tates Creek Village & Milliken Theory 2.0

We recently wrapped up a project in Lexington, KY involving the clubhouse at Tates Creek Village Apartments. Some things turned out well, other things turned out really well, and we are in LOVE with Milliken’s Theory 2.0 collection. This stuff looks absolutely fantastic installed. Here’s the run down: From the Milliken website: – There are 9 patterns. Each pattern comes in 16 colorways. Each colorway has 10-ish variations.
