Alice Herman joined the ID Collaborative team in November 2013 as a Designer. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Arizona State University in 2006. While in school she worked as an architectural acoustical consultant in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. Soon after, she decided to further her education. In 2008 she graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a Master of Arts in Fashion Design focusing on screen printing.
Although Alice is a North Carolina native, she has also lived in Arizona, Georgia, Colorado and California. This exposure to different regions of the country gives her a unique perspective on lifestyle and design. Alice works in the Multi-Family, Corporate, and Hospitality studios at IDC. Alice is also Vice President of Procurement. She has an extensive background in retail purchasing and merchandising and has an acute understanding of POS and inventory systems. Alice is the keeper of the company’s secret spy decoder ring.
Alice recently served on the Board of Directors for IIDA Carolina’s Chapter as the IIDA Carolina’s Chapter Hospitality & Retail Forum Director. She also served on the steering committee of the local IIDA city center as the Professional Student Liaison to all the local student chapters. Alice serves as the Executive Chair and as a Board Member for Love Greensboro, an organization whose goal is to establish a marketing campaign that will promote a cohesive community which embraces pride of place, and celebrates and builds a strong, united community. Alice has also served on the board of Triad Local First, a group that educates and advocates for local business.
